Mav Recycling is a fully certified e-waste recycling company operating in Tanzania. Mav Recycling will collect your e-waste from across Tanzania, sort it and dismantle it at our recycling facility in Dar es Salaam and ensure its final recycling is conducted in an environmentally responsible way and in adherence with international and Tanzanian standards.

Electronic waste is a growing problem world-wide and in Africa in particular. Data from the Global E-Waste Monitor 2024 indicates less than 1% of e-waste generated in Africa was documented to be collected and properly recycled (compared to the global average of ~22%).

Mav Recycling’s goal is to establish and lead a self-sufficient recycling sector in East Africa – reducing the region’s overall environmental footprint.
